I'm 5ft 7ins tall and weigh 8stone. This isn't too underweight is it? I eat {evenings only} crisps or nuts.

Weight needs to be relative to height and, while individuals differ, normal weight has been defined as being a Body Mass Index (or BMI) ranging from 19-25 kg/m2.

BMI is calculated by taking weight in kilograms and dividing it by height measured in meters squared. BMI calculators are available on the internet.

Signs of low weight may include interruption in menstrual cycle. Signs of imbalanced nutrition may be anemia or other medical abnormalities.
