Ask the Experts

Does this hospital offer a program? In hospital, or out patient?

The Columbia Center for Eating Disorders is an umbrella for several treatment options. At the Eating Disorders Research Unit we have inpatient treatment available for those who are interested in and eligible for participation in research. Treatment at the New York State Psychiatric Institute (inpatient or outpatient) is at no cost. Availability of this treatment depends on a range of considerations for the studies that are recruiting. To find out more about those opportunities, and begin to determine if you might be eligible, call 212-543-5739. In addition, we have other clinical services that can be found on the Columbia Psychiatry website.
