Event Title: Cumc Event: PurpleStride Manhattan 2009 
Location: Riverside Park  
Event Description: Hosted by: Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, The Pancreas Center, Columbia University Medical Center, and New York Presbyterian Hospital Length: Choice of 1-mile, 2-mile, & 3-mile Walk Time: Walk begins at 10:00 a.m. Event day registration opens at 8:30 a.m. (Take note of time update) For more information & online registration: www.pancreasmd.org Please see the links for team registration for: The Pancreas Center Team, The Muzzi Mirza Team or to Start Your Own Team or To Donate. PurpleStride Manhattan is a 1,2 or 3-mile walk in the beautiful Riverside Park. The event includes music, children''s activiites, beverages and healthy snacks. There will also be a booth at the event selling Pancreatic Cancer Action Network items! There is no cost for registration! Participants that raise $50 or more will receive a free event t-shirt. To guarantee a t-shirt in your desired size, the $50 raised must occur by October 23rd. Upon registering online, you can create your own personal fundraising webpage that you can customize and send to your friends and family requesting donations for The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. We encourage everyone to fundraise--it''s fun, rewarding, and you can earn fun prizes for doing so! Use your personal web page to organize a fundraising campaign and sen emails to family and friends, all with a click of the mouse. You can also post to your Facebook and Twitter accounts right from your fundraising web page!
