Richard Rabkin, M.D.

Dr. Rabkin, who received his B.A. from Harvard and his M.D. from New York University, has treated over 1400 HIV+ patients for the past 19 years in various treatment studies of depression and HIV-related wasting.

He has collaborated on multiple publications concerning the therapeutic effects of standard antidepressants (e.g., fluoxetine) and innovative interventions (e.g., dextroamphetamine, provigil, and testosterone) for HIV+ men and women. He also has a Master in Fine Arts in painting.
